Roleplay example: (this is an example of one of my wolf at another site i play at. if you want it to be specific for this one i can make a new one. my average posts around 200-300 words) Maybe there was actually something wrong with Aldarion but he'd actually found Thos' joke funny. That seemed to be the difference between Thos and Aldarion. Even though they were playing the dozens with each other Aldarion had an actual sense of humor where it seemed obviously, Thos did not. Aldarion gave a soft chuckle to Thos' joke, not that loud but Luthien would've still been able to hear it considering she was close by. Could it be that Thos was actually lightening up? Fat chance. Even though Thos sent a wolfish grin his way he'd only done it because he'd thought that he'd one upped Darion. Thos' next insult didn't carry the same air as a joke either. It was meant to be an insult. What an ass..."We'll see who the real wolf is when this hunt is over Thos..." He wasn't going to let Thos beat him. Not at insults, this challenge...anything. Thos was a pompous self righteous ass and that's all he was. It wasn't Darion's fault that Thos tossed around his feelings faster than the shifts of the wind. He needs to grow the hell up...that's what he needs... "So much for a carefree, fun time," Yea, for Thos maybe. Thos' attitude wasn't going to ruin Darion's mood. He was going to have fun and he was going to win. The brute wasn't important enough to affect him like that but perhaps the same couldn't be said for Luthien. "You didn't have to provoke him, though..." Provoke? Darion lifted a brow towards Luthien. He hadn't provoked the sour Thos. It wasn't his fault that he was so uptight and couldn't take a joke. It wasn't as if he'd said something out of line either. Should he make a mental note of this? Boast around and act like you own everything and then whine like a pup tattling on his brother to get sympathy when things don't go your way. Was that the kind of wolves they wanted around here? That wasn't a real wolf, it was just like it sounded...a pup. Darion wasn't going to behave that way. And if that was something that attracted Luthien, having an insecure brute that liked being babied over that was her own business as well. He did believe in love at first sight but not love at every site which is how Thos acted. He wondered if Luthien reacted so strongly to Thos' words because she actually liked Thos. Eww...Or maybe she was a fae that took things to close to heart. Either way Thos didn't seem like he was worth all the trouble anyway. Tilting his head upward he searched for a scent, hoping to get some kind of direction for this hunt. His head came down just as Luthien batted those lashes his way. "I don't know, you tell me.." He said playfully in response to her inquiry about the puppy eyes.
